Netscape Navigator is a premiere Internet browser, combining speed, usability and reliability into a single package. Netscape Communications also introduced the idea of browser plug-ins, which are additional applications you can download to extend the browser’s capabilities. Beyond standard Web and FTP access, Netscape also provides integrated mail and newgroup readers, making it a one-stop-shopping package for many Internet users.

The video will play from the moment you click on it, even if you’re behind a firewall. Internet Explorer users don’t need the plug-in to view the video.

Active Xcavator 1.0
Internet Explorer users can take complete control over ActiveX with this utility from Windows Magazine. Active Xcavator locates the controls that have been downloaded to your machine and helps you remove unwanted controls. Active XCavator lists ActiveX controls installed by Internet Explorer 3.0 or later. View information on the control, including the name, size and location of the file. If you have an ActiveX control that is very large, doesn’t work properly or was downloaded by accident, Active XCavator lets you delete it. If you delete a control by mistake, all you have to do is return to the original Website where the control was originally installed from, and it will automatically be reinstalled.
